How the Home Partners Plus Program Works

Step 1: Get Pre-Approved

The first step is getting pre-approved for a mortgage with 1st United Home Loans. This helps determine your estimated budget and gives you a clearer idea of the homes that may fit your financial situation.

During this stage, you may also be introduced to a Keyes REALTOR®, so you can begin discussing your home search while your financing is being reviewed.

Step 2: Share Your Budget and Preferred Location

Once your estimated price range is identified, your home search details can be shared with the Home Partners Plus team.

This may include:

  • Your approved or estimated budget
  • Preferred city, neighborhood, or area
  • Type of property you are looking for
  • General home buying goals

This helps ensure you are matched with the right real estate professional for your needs.

Step 3: Get Matched with a Keyes REALTOR®

Next, you are connected with a Keyes REALTOR® who is knowledgeable in your area of interest.

Your Keyes REALTOR® can help you:

  • Search for available homes
  • Schedule property visits
  • Understand local market conditions
  • Prepare and submit an offer
  • Navigate negotiations

Having the right real estate team can make the home buying process feel more organized and less overwhelming.

Step 4: Search, Make an Offer, and Move Toward Closing

Your Keyes REALTOR® can help you search for homes, schedule property visits, prepare an offer, and navigate negotiations while your mortgage process continues with 1st United Home Loans.

Step 5: Review the Closing Disclosure

A few days before closing, the preliminary closing disclosure is reviewed to confirm that the rebate credit is properly reflected.

This step helps ensure the credit is included before final closing documents are signed.

Step 6: Close on Your Home and Receive Your Rebate Credit

At closing, the rebate may be applied as a credit toward eligible closing costs.

This can help reduce the amount of money you need to bring to closing, making the final step of the home buying process even more rewarding.

Why Start with Pre-Approval?

Getting pre-approved before shopping for a home can help you understand what you may be able to afford before you begin making serious decisions.

A mortgage pre-approval can help you:

  • Set a realistic home shopping budget
  • Strengthen your offer when buying a home
  • Avoid looking at homes outside your price range
  • Move faster when you find the right property
  • Feel more confident during negotiations
