How Do I Earn the $400 Checking Account Bonus?

To earn the $400 bonus, open your first eligible Connect Credit Union Checking Account and receive a total of at least $250 in qualifying direct deposits within 60 days after opening the account. Once the requirements are completed and verified, the bonus will be deposited within 60 days.¹

 

1. Open Your First Connect Checking Account

Open an eligible Checking or eChecking Account between 9/15/26 and 12/15/26.

The offer is available to eligible new and current Connect Credit Union members who have never previously had a checking account.

2. Receive Qualifying Direct Deposits

Receive a total of at least $250 through one or more qualifying payroll or retirement benefit direct deposits within 60 calendar days after opening a checking account.

The required deposits must post to the new checking account within the 60-day qualification period.

3. Receive Your $400 Bonus

After the offer requirements have been completed and verified, Connect Credit Union will deposit the $400 bonus directly into your new checking account within 60 days.

The Checking Account must remain open and in good standing through the bonus payment date.

 

What Counts as a Qualifying Direct Deposit?

A qualifying direct deposit must be an electronic deposit made to your new Checking Account by an employer or its payroll provider for payroll, or by a retirement fund or benefits provider for retirement benefits.

Transfers between accounts, person-to-person payments, cash deposits, check deposits and deposits from other sources do not count toward the promotional direct deposit requirement.

Who Is Eligible for the $400 Checking Account Bonus?

The $400 checking account bonus is available to eligible new and current Connect Credit Union members who open their first Connect checking account and complete the qualifying direct deposit requirement.¹

New to Connect Credit Union?

To qualify for the offer, you must be eligible for Connect Credit Union membership. New members must open and maintain a Share Savings Account, which establishes their membership and gives them access to Connect checking accounts and other financial services.

Already a Connect Credit Union Member?

Current Connect members may also qualify if they have never previously had a Connect Credit Union checking account.

Members who currently have or previously had a Connect checking account are not eligible for this offer.

Who Can Join Connect Credit Union?

You may be eligible for Connect Credit Union membership if you meet at least one of the following requirements:
  • You are a current employee of the State of Florida.
  • You are a retiree of the Florida Department of Transportation.
  • You work for a company that has a current contract with the Florida Department of Transportation.
  • You are an immediate family member of a current Connect Credit Union member.
  • You live or work in an eligible Florida county.
