For 58 years, your Credit Union has worked hard to connect with you, our members, in order to help you achieve your financial dreams. From the first member we served in 1962 to each new member we welcome today, your Credit Union is committed to cultivating your financial success.

With continual changes in technology, consumer patterns, and with added emphasis on security and privacy, 2019 was a challenging year as we prepared for our largest endeavor in decades. We are committed to stay on the forefront of innovative technology, providing you secure access to your accounts 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Last year at this time, we had just completed our System Upgrade project. The core systems of a financial institution is the beating heart of our operations. All transactions, member data, and balances reside or pass through this system. Our goal was to find better solutions for our members and consolidate systems to remove compatibility and integration issues. In the first quarter of last year, we migrated to a new core system, which included a new online banking system, audio response, bill pay, Mobile application with integrated remote check deposit and card control to name a few of the added features. We also brought our credit card program in house and manage it more ourselves which added functionality for our members in the mobile application and more options for making payments.

We recently added Mobile Wallet for your use. Mobile Wallet includes adding the Samsung Pay, Google Pay, and Apple Pay functionality to your Connect CU debit and credit cards. Finally, we are working on completing the next steps of the integration which will provide a more robust account aggregation program into our online banking program. I would like to extend kudos to our entire team for their commitment to learning and the change this past year.

On the branch side, we renovated both our Fort Lauderdale office and our Miami offices recently to ensure a welcoming space for our members to conduct their financial transactions.

On behalf of the Board and Management team, I would like to first thank all of the members and all of our staff for their hard work and effort during the past year to make this system upgrade a success.

Our goal has always been and will always be for all of our members, both current and future, feel like part of the family. Just like our original membership connects lives throughout the State of Florida using roads and bridges to bring people together, your Credit Union wants to connect with all of our members to provide you with the tools and knowledge to achieve your dreams.

Looking forward into 2020, we are working to make sure all members are aware of all the products and services that are available including our wide offering of loan services such as consumer loans, first mortgages, and home equities. Our deposit products, such as a checking product with higher interest and many other savings products. With a very robust online banking application now available to you, we are always looking at additional online functionality while providing personalized financial education for any of our members that want to improve their finances.

We want to continue to connect with you and be your first choice for all of your financial needs. We are committed to building a strong relationship with you based on trust and provide you with a high level of member service. We want you to feel so confident in us that you will want to refer all your friends and family members to your Credit Union when they need help finding solutions to their individual financial situations.
